Seven days from now, we will be in Italy. A week after that, we'll be in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. We have sooooo much to do between now and then. The dining room table has become the staging area for all we will take to Ethiopia. It's hard to believe everything we have amassed to give away. Yea!
In honor of Buster Gray, Allison has decided she would like to get another kitten when we return home. It will be perfect timing--she'll have a few weeks to get the little guy or gal to fall absolutely in love with her before school starts back up.
We are Dave (aka Dad), Lory (aka Mom), Allison, Abby (aka "The Bigs"), three year-old Amelia and six year-old Bereket (aka "The Littles"). We are figuring out how to be a family of SIX. May God always be glorified! TEAM TASFA is a group of twenty-eight of us who just returned from remote southern Ethiopia, where we were privileged to serve the orphans and widows there. It was the best two weeks of my life!

Congratulations Allison ... your new kitten will be so lucky to have you as it's Mama and she will bring you so much joy. How exciting.
Lory, 7 days ... and Italy, now you got ME thinking like that...hmmm! Knowing you, you are absolutely jumping out of your skin. Don'tcha wish Amelia knew what was happening on this end? By the way, I have received 15 minutes of video of "T" that is just precious. She says "Hi Mama" on it ... can you imagine? They show a little bit of the infants room and one nanny is holding a baby, I wonder if thats Amelia (she is at the same orphanage, isn't she?) I hope your video taping this meeting with her.
Wow ... 7 days!!!!

Wow, how time has flown by! Only 7days to go, how exciting!
We also have a few things for you to take if you have room.
Yesterday we ran into a couple we used to go to church with. They are also in the middle of a foreign adoption! I can't wait to tell you about them.
We think about you all every day!
Jeannine
Hey Jeannine,
We are trying to limit our personal stuff so we can each (all 5 of us) take 50 pounds of things to give. So...depending on the size/weight of the things you have to donate, we should be ok.
Looked for you this morning but didn't see you...hope all is ok?
love,
Lory and the fam
