She says MAMA...

...like she means it!

And it melts my heart!

She also plays, "How big is Amelia?" (Answer: Sooooooo big!),
waves bye-bye, claps, and points her cute little finger.

Could she be any cuter! What a blessing she is. Things have taken a nosedive on the emotional rollercoaster over here. We need prayer. Haven't blogged yet, just too much to bear...Thanks for all of your encouragement and prayers, they are holding us up through all of this.

I love the picture of you and Amelia! Have a Merry Christmas! I would like to know more about Jim and Kari so we can be praying for them... DW

Derek, there blog is in my blog list over on the right side: "Volf Journey of Hope." It is fascinating, their experiences in the Ukraine. Very different from Ethiopia.

Amelia is so much like Melekamu! They both drool non stop and I just noticed that she has the same curly "earlocks" and the frizzy tuft on the top of the head as he does! Is she Amharic?

Amelia is so beautiful! I cannot believe how different she looks from when we saw her in Sele Enat seven months ago, yet its definitely the same baby with the same adorable smile. I love the picture of the two of you together, definitely a framer.

Have I told you that I want to steal her? Because I do. But I won't because I know how much you love her... Seriously adorable!
